4/14/22: Here we go, the latest example of me trying to convince somebody why it's not a good idea to be hellbent on paying off the mortgage before retirement.

With just a little bit of principal left on the mortgage, is it okay to pay it off in one fell swoop?

While it's usually a straightforward scenario, not every mortgage pay off question is the same, and this latest conversation is certainly a unique situation.
